Every Christmas, I find myself thinking back to the early 1990s when my kitchen table in Northern Ireland was covered in crochet thread, starch, and tiny angels drying on our old heaters. Back then, I was a stay-at-home mum, selling my handmade angels and other items at local craft fairs. To my delight, they flew off the shelves! Some people hung them on their trees, others used them as gift tags or strung them together into garlands.
Those little angels became more than just ornaments, they were the spark that led me to start this Christmas crochet blog years later.
I first shared this angel pattern back in 2016, and it’s still one of the most loved designs on my blog. So, I thought it was time for a little refresh! I’m now linking to a newer video tutorial than the original one with better lighting and clearer steps, perfect if you fancy making your own angel this year.
