This crochet snowflake features in my logo for the Facebook page of this blog. I wanted to make a pattern that is easy to remember by heart after making one or two. Great for Christmas tree or cards, or you can sew one on a scarf, bag, blanket or any clothing. You can also attach snowflakes to your window.
The snowflakes can be starched using white glue and water or sugar and water. Your snowflake will look quite different depending on what kind of yarn you use. The first photo shows a snowflake made with crochet thread. This one is made of wool:
